Trouble with the updated Fitbit app

After the upgrade my phone and watch show connected but the app keeps saying to can't synch. I have tried all the help articles and it's not working. I am so frustrated! This update is the worst

@AmberH8 Welcome to the forums. Please be advised that there was a situation with the Fitbit app on the precise date of your contact. This situation has been addressed and resolved by Fitbit. It was just a matter of waiting. Is your device back syncing with your account? Please let me know. If not, I recommend the following article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?. Here you find tips.

Hi, I can't add my friends in fitbit, we are all in China, is the area makes us can't add each other?

Probably best to post in "The redesigned Fitbit app is rolling out!" topic in this forum along with the other unhappy users where you will see more fully all the issues

Unfortunately it would seem likely you are stuck with this version.

I had the same problem with syncing my fitbit & phone. I restarted my phone & that didn't work. Ended up calling customer service & the solution was to restart the fitbit. To restart, you go into settings on the fitbit & to restart device. Hope this helps.
