Un registering fitbit on app

I am thinking of selling my fitbit versa. How will the seller set up the fitbit in their fitbit app if its registered on mine? Can I un register it?

Ok great! I did that. Do I do factory reset to clear out all info stored in watch itself?

@ney_ney1978  all your data resides on the Fitbit servers, which is kept under your account, password protected and no one else can see it.
