Unable To Accept/Join Group Invites

When I try to JOIN a group I've been invited to I get this: 

 

 

Please assign a new admin

A group must have at least one admin for it's members. Choose another member to assign as an admin before leaving this group.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, seems odd that you're receiving such message while trying to join to a group. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? Which mobile device are you using? Did you tried some troubleshooting steps before posting over here? If not, I suggest you to try the following in the meantime I receive your answers:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the Android version is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.

 

Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions. If possible, please send me a screenshot of the error message you're receiving.

This is happening to me.  I did uninstall and reinstalled the app but problem still exists.  Please let me know how I can join groups.
