Hi Brad99,
I have sort of the same issue, today I spent a lot of time chatting with 4 Google supportpeople and after that with a Fitbit supportguy. They were all unable to solve the problem. I never before had the experience with Google making things this difficult.

I've now been told that Google can take over the 60/90 days they say they will delete and account in and will retain the data until they can remove it - which could be forever. Google is clearly not respecting any data retention statements the make and their privacy policies are now so vague they can keep your data forever and keep using it regardless of you wanting it gone. I just don't want to lose 12 years of data, so what is going to happen is that Google will keep all my and my kid's data but will not let us access it. So we have to start over losing all our data - but Google is allowed to keep it forever.
