I had been facing sync issues with my device to the app. Thought reconnecting the device might help. But once I deleted the device from my account, I'm now unable to add it. My device is charge 2 and my phone is pixel 2 XL. I have already tried to clear cache, force stop the app and restart the phone. Nothing helped

Sorry @kavyat but removing a device from the users account will only tell Fitbit that the user does not want to use the tracker. This step will never fix a problem when the Fitbit app is not talking to the tracker.
Let's look at the troubleshooting steps for sync issues.
BTW: you are not the first to remove a tracker.
