Unable to connect to Inspire HR

i have unattached and tried to resync my fitbit to my phone. I already looked for trouble shooting to no avail. I have had trouble syncing in the past and now I cannot sync at all. So I tried to reteach the device to the app and cannot reset up the device. Help!

Unattaching is when you remove the tracker from the list of bluetooth devices on the phone. Is that what you did @Hwooters, if not,  you still need to do this. 

 

However it sounds like you removed the tracker from your Fitbit account. Telling fitbit that you don't want to use the tracker and causing more problems. 

 

We have to setup the Inspire HR before we can sync it , but first we have to correct the issue of why the two units where not connecting. 

 

  • First let's disconnect the tracker from the phones bluetooth 
  • Update the Fitbit app
  • Swipe the Fitbit app out of memory
  • Open the phone settings - Apps - Fitbit - stop app
  • While in settings - Storage  - Clear Cache
  • Shutdown phone - Turn on phone
  • Restart tracker

You may want to try to setup after each step above. Or just do all ten try a setup. 

Yes there other steps that can be tried, but doing the above should cover these steps.

Thank you, I did those and uninstalled the app and reinstalled the app it
works now
