I got invite from couple of closed groups, as I click 'join ' , a Message pops out saying 'Please assign a new admin- Add a member and assign someone as admin before leaving the group'. How Can I do any of it before joining the group ?
What is the issue here and how to rectify?

Thanks for bringing this up and sharing your experience on the matter. Let me help you figure out what is going on and find a way to move forward.
The first thing I'd like to recommend is that you log out of the app and then force close it. Then open it and log back in. That should help so that everything is loaded from the servers and thus the app should work correctly and let you join those groups.
Keep me posted on how it goes or if you have any further questions.

In this case, I'd like to ask if you could share some screenshots of what is going on when you try join the groups. I'd like to take a closer look at the situation.
Please also let me know what Android version is it that you are using.

I am getting the same message now. I have several monthly groups that I have been in for months & now suddenly for the November invites I get the same message as you have stated you received. They tried to tell me that suddenly my phone & tablet are incompatible devices. Did they ever give you a straight answer?

Thanks for posting your response angelshak I have had the same issue recently and just now dropped one to be able to join another. I am in 33 closed groups now. I will have to see if it will let me push it to 34. Just wondering out of curiosity how many you were in when you had to drop out of a group to join another. It is too bad the app does not allow you the option to rejoin a group that is dropped 😫

Just tried leaving a few grips and lol and behold that fixed it!!! Guess we are limited in how many gross we can join.... That kind of sucks... Wish they would let you know that I'm the first place... Have a great day!!!!

@Doodlyn @Athena1120376 Fitbit's Closed Group Help article doesn't have any information on a limit to the number of groups you can join. I will ask a moderator for clarification.
