Unable to log in and get Error 1006

I hope I’m posting in the right section if not Admin can move it to somewhere deemed appropriate.
Over the past few months I noticed that I can log in my C3 and Versa2. It will say that is Invalid email or password. If you try to log into the Fitbit website. It will say Error 1006 & access denied,

This will occur every now and then.
Thank you.

Hi @Dlff. It's great to see you here in the Forums.

Thanks for letting me know that you're unable to access to your account in the Fitbit app and website. It's unusual that you're getting those messages, but let's work on this together. First on the Fitbit app, please try the following:

  1. On your phone's settings, tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  2. Go back one screen and tap on force stop.
  3. Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app.
  4. Reboot your phone.
  5. Open the Fitbit app and try log in to your account.

Now, the issue experienced when log in to fitbit.com dashboard might be related to your IP address and should resolve within 48 hours. Since you mentioned to be happening every now and then, do you mean that this has been a constant issue? If so, may I know when you started to have this issue? These details will help me to investigate further.

I'll be around, keep me posted.

Thank you for your reply. Whenever I can’t log in. I can’t access to the website as well. It will occur sporadically & I’ll just wait and try again later. I’ll give your method a try next time when I have the same issue. Last time I had this issue was on Nov 16.
Thank you.

Hi @Dlff. You're welcome and hope you're doing well.

Thanks for keeping me updated and sharing more details about this situation. While this shouldn't be happening at all, in case you experience a similar behavior with the Fitbit app and/or website please try the steps described above to troubleshoot this situation. Make sure you're connected to a strong internet connection, and if possible try switching between WiFi and mobile data. If that doesn't help, feel free to reply back so we can continue working on this together.

See you around.
