I am unable to log in to my app.  I have reset the password three times with the same result.

@bohlkent Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for the details mentioned and the troubleshooting performed prior to posting.

I moved your post to this board, in an effort to keep the forums organized. I'd like you to double check if you're able to log into the online Dashboard, and make sure you're following these steps to reset your password. May I know the error message you're getting on your app?

Hope this helps.

Hi! I can log in to the online dashboard through google. It is the app in
which I am having the issue. When the app appears and asks me to log in, I
enter my email address and password and the notification "invalid email or
password" appears. I have reset it so many times that I really, literally
forgot my password.

@bohlkent Thank you for getting back.

I appreciate the details mentioned. Let's try the following:

- Clear the app cache
- Restart your phone
- Try to log into the Fitbit app

If you have followed the troubleshooting mentioned above but still experiencing difficulties, uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app. Take into consideration that the Android app version 3.4.1 and below were removed from the Google Play store.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

Force quit and then reopen the Fitbit app. Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off and back on. Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app. If your Fitbit scale won't sync after you reinstall the app, log in to your Fitbit account on a different phone or tablet and try to sync.

I've done everything noted and my app is still not working. I logged out and in to my dashboard on my laptop without issue. I changed my password on my GMAIL account.. when I try to logging on (after reinstalling) on my Galaxy S21, it tells me "password not secure" and is forcing me to "change password",  but it does not say if it is trying to change my GMail password or the app password. I have never logged into the Fitbit app with anything other than GMail, so I have no idea what it wants and in the mean time it is not updating my information.
