Unable to manually log sleep data on Fitbit app

I've tried logging my sleep manually and it keeps coming up with an error. I tried logging it on the app, and also on the website dashboard but it still doesn't register it. Any ideas?

@Nicklaus3359   Can you give a little more information?  I see two sleep logs for today.  Are you trying to add another sleep log that overlaps with the existing logs?  If you were wearing your Charge 4, did it miss some sleep completely?

I just logged the last hour of time as a nap (actually sitting at my computer) and had no trouble.

The sleep im trying to log doesn't overlap the current sleep logs I have already. I work nights so throughout the day I have little naps here and there. Sometimes the sleep is less than two hours so I know it won't get any sleep data analysis like deep sleep, light or rem. Thats fine. I'm just trying to keep as accurate log of my sleep as possible. But it keeps giving me this message. I'm only trying to log from 18:45 - 20:05. 1 hour and 20 minutes just to make up my sleep log.

Hi @Nicklaus3359. It's good to see you around. @LZeeW Thanks for your great help!

Thanks for the detailed information, and for the screenshot provided. It's odd you're getting that error message and because this was reported on Sunday, do you still have the same issue? May I know the model and OS version of your phone?

In the meantime, please give a try to the following:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  3. Open the Fitbit app and log back into your account.
  4. Tap the Sleep tile and try logging your details one more time.

Hi there, thanks for getting back to me. I have now resolved this issue by logging out and clearing the cache and data in the settings menu for the fitbit app on my Samsung galaxy note 9 mobile. Once logged back in and set up again I was able to log my sleep. I did restart (Reboot) my watch and device
