After the last two updates, my text messages broke. i get notified of text messages coming in but can no longer open the text on my Versa. if i click open it opens on my phone.

It has been about 2 - 3 weeks since I noticed, i have a Samsung S .
I have tried all the tips and recommendations. I get the notification, just can't open it.

Seems odd that you're receiving notifications but you're unable to open then. That said, can you please try restarting your Fitbit to refresh it's performance? Please try the following steps to do so:

Tried turning it off again and still broke

I even factory reset the versa, same result I get the notification, when i try to open or reply it open on my phone
