Unable to receive Whatsapp notifications from Galaxy Note 8

Hi there,

so I've done everything...

In summary - 

Text/SMS/MMS    from GN8 -> Charge 2 notifications - Works

Phone                  from GN8 -> Charge 2 notifications - Works

WhatsApp            from GN8 -> Charge 2 notifications - Does not work

I've also turned of Battery Optimization for WhatsApp, done a hard shutdown and start.

I still can't get WhatsApp to notify me when a msg arrives...

How do I get WhatsApp to use the same notification method as Text/SMS/MMS?

Hi @KsDad, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! So it seem you are able to receive regular text notifications, but not messages from Whatsapp. 

My first recommendation is to review the version of your Fitbit app. There is a new version for the the Android platform the will improve the stability of the app. For more details please go here.

If the issue continues I would recommend to try these troubleshooting steps: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone.

I have had my versa for a week and I am still floundering between all the "advice" out there to try get what's app notifications on my watch. I get emails but cannot get whatsapp. Please help before I jump off a building!!!!!
