Unable to remove Charge 3 from app

In an attempt to fix the endless syncing and tracking issues, I tried to remove my Charge 3 tracker so that I can pair it again, but I am unable to.

If I click on the tracker in the app I just see a blank page, and the trash icon does nothing.

 

I have also tried forgetting the device from Bluetooth, and that made no difference. It's still syncing, which I don't even understand how that is possible.

After uninstalling and reinstalling the app, the "Fitbit" tracker was still listed there and still said it was syncing successfully, despite no such device being in the Bluetooth of my phone.

However, this time when I clicked on it, it showed the first time set up, and said it was "getting things ready" and now the device correctly appears as "Charge 3".

This software is so buggy. Hopefully now it will work for at least a few weeks without breaking.

@adebaser your Bluetooth list does not have to have the tracker. 

When you setup notifications, the Fitbit app will pair the tracker. 

For the future. 

When the Fitbit app is not able to talk to tracker. Simply telling Fitbit that I don't want to use the tracker will never fix a sync issue, which still needs to be fixed before setup may succeed.
