Unable to set weight loss goal

I've been trying to set a weight loss goal in the Android app, but it won't let me. Even when I select "lose" and set the target weight under my goal weight, it defaults to a "maintain" or "gain" goal and days I've met the goal. This seems to be a bug with the app since this has never been an issue before

@AlecD123 Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for the detailed information shared. 

 

I appreciate the procedure followed prior to posting. I'd like you to make sure the latest app version available to you is installed, to do so check your Play Store for updates. 

 

You may want to give it a try to the following troubleshooting: 

- Log out from the Fitbit app 

- Clear the app cache 

- Restart your phone 

- Log back in
