I have a galaxy note 4, running Android 6.0. I have downloaded the fitbit app but can not get the phone and watch to pair. The app crashes when I try to pair the phone with the app. In the app, I get a message that says I must update the app to proceed. When I attempt to update the app, I have no success and the app freezes.
Would very much appreciate any help to arrive at success in pairing. Now, I feel up a creek without the paddle. Help please.

Hi @James9, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delayed reply.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the details that were shared in your post, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check all the information that's specified on: How do I set up my Fitbit device? to check if all the requirements are correctly configured to setup your device. Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.
Keep in mind that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is not listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, you can experience some connection difficulties with it.
Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.
