Unable to setup Versa 2 with Samsung Galaxy S9+

My versa 2 fitbit is not connecting with my phone. Without my watch I am lost. I was reading a forum and someone from fitbit was giving advise on how to connect it to your watch and if it does not work to try and connect the watch to another device. I am like are you serious. I am not going to connect my watch to another device. Because all of my notifications are going to go to that other device and not my phone. They need to fix this fast or I am getting a new watch. At least I am not alone with this..this new update done messed up everything. If it is not broke why fix it.

If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check all the information that's specified on: How do I set up my Fitbit device? to check if all the requirements are correctly configured to setup your device. Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.
