Unable to setup Versa 2

I just got the versa 2 and it won't connect with my Google pixel 2. My phone finds the device but after putting in 4 digit code, it won't connect. It gives me 3 options (turn Bluetooth off/on, restart Fitbit, and make sure Fitbit is charged and turned on) and try again but it keeps giving me the same 3 option message.

Try clearing the phones cache @aww_precious

I just cleared cache in app and uninstalled and installed again. After I put in the 4 digit code, the same 3 options appear. And the Fitbit has been charging for a 4 hours now and it's still stuck on charging the little bit at the end of battery icon.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps. To resolve the issue you're experiencing with your Versa 2 that's stuck on charging, please follow the next steps to restart one more time your device:

 

  1. For Fitbit Versa 2, hold the back button for 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If you still have issues with your device, turn it off and turn it back on. For more information, see How do I turn off my Fitbit device?
