Unable to sync Charge 2

Charge 2 not syncing with Android phone app. I have to uninstall app and re-install app to get it to sync.

Thanks for troubleshooting your Charge 2 prior to posting. To better assist you, can you please let me know which mobile device you're currently using with your Fitbit? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

Did not help. The app does not show need to update. When I swipe to sync the app says it can't locate the device. Bluetooth is on, battery is powered up, no wifi connection issues. I can update steps if Iuninstall and reinstall the app on my Galaxy AS7.
