The most recent firmware upgrade for my new Inspire HR kept failing on my Android (8.0.0) Motorola XT1921-2 phone. Following the help articles, I updated the firmware from the app on different device. Then I turned off Bluetooth and removed the Fitbit app from that other device to make sure it wouldn't conflict.
It continually fails to sync on my phone. Following help articles, I restarted the Inspire HR and Bluetooth on my phone. Restarted my phone. Reinstalled the Fitbit app. Removed and tried to re-add the tracker.
When I attempt to re-add the tracker, it detects it, connects to it, and then tells me that Bluetooth is not working and I need to restart it. At that point the pair times out.
I am able to connect to other Bluetooth devices using this phone, although make sure that there are no other devices nearby while pairing with the tracker. I am also able to pair the tracker with my tablet, but I can no longer pair the tracker with my phone since the most recent update.
My tracker is only a month old. How can I resolve this issue?

Update: removed Inspire HR from my Fitbit account and instructed my Bluetooth to "forget" it, and was finally able to re-pair the Fitbit using the phone. It's back on the account and back in my paired devices list.
Still won't sync. Issue is unchanged.
