Unable to sync or pair your fitbit to your mobile phone

For the past 3 days has anyone had trouble trying to sync your fitbit to your mobile phone ...and also trying to pair your fitbit to your mobile phone

I have had the same problem . After 4 days it finally paired but after 3 hours it lost the connection again .PLEASE!  What's that about.

I have mine on 24gour sync but always have to do it myself and it still takes a few attempts before it will sync

I got it working after 4 days and it lasted 4 hours! And went off again !!

I'm fed  up with these issues. Had permanent problems with my charge 2, bought the versa lite which has intermittently had problems but now after reinstalling twice already today is still failing to sync.  Fitbit is absolutely rubbish. I am so fed up with this now

I know how you feel. I'm ready to throw it in the bin Even when I reinstalled it and got it to since  the time was wrong and it didn't count my steps.

I am seriously annoyed at Fitbit and so sorry I bought another. I'd love to know what Fitbit are going to do about this problem

Ditto. I didn't play for mine. It was a present but it is frustrating. It seems they are "working on the ptoblem" . I think that every time they update it this happens.

Moonboots, maybe the watch needed to be recharged, since it died?

Sometimes cleaning the watch terminals with alcohol has helped me sync better. Not after this last update, but before.

The saddest thing about the app not syncing is that the watch, itself, is the best watch out there. Every time there's a frustrating issue that makes me want to go to another brand, I research and no other watch is as good. Plus, the others are a lot more expensive. It's the app I get angry at more often than the watch.

my fitbit did die it got hot and it was charged an hour before then it just died

A search here for "fitbit not syncing" yielded 4,000 results.  I didn't look at all of them but that's still a lot, even if only half of them are actually complaining about the app not syncing with the watches.

And I'm getting really frustrated with this problem. It's worse than all of the other times. I seriously regret updating this last time.

My Alta will not sync with my phone and it is showing the wrong date and time. I charged it for two days and tried to reset it. This is very frustrating 😠

I have this problem with my versa. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I set up my fitbit as new again. It was trial and error. I did this several times and it worked for a while. The last time I let the battery run down. I left it in a drawer for a week. Charged it up and started again hey presto it worked ... then I had a blip for a day when it disconnected but it righted itself and so far it's working  again. I hope this helps. ( this happened recently like lady week.)
