Hi @Gincos thanks for bringing this to my attention, it's a pleasure to give you a hand with this. Welcome to the Community Forums.
Seems odd that you're unable to update the Fitbit app on your mobile device, can you please let me know which troubleshooting steps you already tried? Also, when was the first time you experienced this? Let me share with you that the Motorola Moto G6 is not a compatible device with our products and services as specified here. That said, can you please try with a different mobile device to see if this solves the problem? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to do the following:
- Uninstall the Fitbit app
- Reboot your mobile device
- Reinstall the Fitbit app
- Make sure that your mobile device software is up to date
Looking forward to your reply, I'll be around.

worked. So frustrating - so I took it back to the shop where I'd purchased
it, the girl took it out of the box and my 4g immediately started working
on the update. My Fitbit is now fine and I am very happy with it. Turns out
it was just my rubbish broadband that was the problem. Thank you very much
for your reply.
