Unable to update, pair or sync

My Charge 2 has failed to update, pair or sync since the 18th August.  I have followed all the advice given by fitbit, from turnng off, resetting, uninstalling and now I'm about ready to throw the thing out the window.  My phone is a Samsung J40 which is not on their supported list but did work initially as have had the phone since July arrrggggghhhhhhh.  Can anyone help??

I have the same problem since July. In my case, I am a Nokia user. Has anyone gone through the same (and successfully solve it)?

I have just resolved it it would seem having read another thread!!!  I updated on my old phone then uninstalled it before installing it again on my new phone and voila it is now doing all that needs to be done!  A very long winded way of doing it 😞
