Version 2.17 was released yesterday and may sort call notifications problems on HTC One M8, but why can't I download it in the playstore, the latest version available to me is 2.16.3?

Welcome to the Forums @Squidgit84! The reason why you're not being able to download the latest version of the Fitbit app is due to it has been partially released. It will fully released during the next week. Once it has been released at all you will see a banner from the PlayStore with the new update.
