Unable to upload a photo to a post

Whenever I want to post a photo I click on the camera icon, get a white screen for a few seconds and than it goes back to the screen I was on before. It also happens when I want a photo background for an activity post. I've reinstalled it multiple times, looked at the permission, changed the default gallery app yet nothing changes. Is it just a bug or is there something else I can do to fix it?

The first thing I'd like to ask what Android version and app version are you  running. Please also let me know what phone you have. 

 

In the meantime I'd like to ask you if you have the time to try it on a different mobile device.

I am having the same issue. Screen goes white then back on to main page.

Have updated app. Forced it to stop. Logged in and out. Checked app permissions both on app and on my phone. Still no luck

Thanks for taking the time to share those details and the steps that you tried to get it working correctly.

 

In this case, I'd like to recommend that you try uninstalling the app and then installing it once again. That should help in getting it all working in case the issue comes from something not being installed properly.

I have uninstalled and installed the Fitbit app and it is still not allowing me to post photos on the community

I'm experiencing exactly the same problems. 

I also have a Samsung a8!

Is there a problem with this particular phone?

Was there ever a solution to this? I also have the Samsung a8 and I have uninstalled and reinstalled and cleared cache but I still can't upload a photo.

I am having the same problem. It worked fine on my Samsung S8 but then switched to LG Stylo 6 and it still didn't work. Switched to a Samsung A21 and it still doesn't work. Is there a fix for this yet?

No, and I think it's a bit ridiculous that FITBIT has not address this
yet....its been several months and countless users that have this same issue

I'm having the same issue for a good year. Even contacted forltbit support team. They just said we looking into as number of reports has gone in. But by the looks of it they ant sorting the problem

Same problem here as well. Huawei Mate 20 Pro, Android 9.

 

White screen happens and I'm back in the group, where I wanted to post a photo.
