Hi,
A few days ago my fitbit one seemed to hang up and I had to reset it by connecting to the charger and holding the button down. It seems that ever sense then, it's been causing the bluetooth share on my Samsung Galaxy S4 to crash, with the message in the subject line. I'm fairly certain the fitbit is causing this since if I walk out of range of the fitbit, bluetooth stops crashing. Also, I uninstalled the fitbit app and the crashing stopped. I'm not sure whether the fitbit app is messed up, or if it's a buggy firmware issue, but I'm pretty sure it's one of them. I lean towards firmware since even trying to sync via the dongle last night would not work until I reset the fitbit. I've seen loads of complaints in the last couple of months about issues with the fitbit one, and my wife's has started acting flakey too, so I doubt it's my fitbit hardware.

Factory reset of the phone and reinstall of selected apps seems to have solved the bluetooth share issue. I still saw issues yesterday where the fitbit would stop syncing with anything, until after I did a reset of it. Had to do that 2 or 3 times.
Now, something that I changed, can't remember when I fiddled with these settings, perhaps when I started doing the adventures a couple weeks ago... I had been messing with the settings for "All-Day Sync" and "Always Connected". Last night before bed, I turned both of those off. So far today, syncing seems to be working correctly. Fingers crossed...

Summary: Shortly after I thought the problem was resolved, it came back again. After some research, it looked like the major cause could be a known bug in Android 4.3 having to do with BLE (bluetooth low energy) having to do with stored addresses, and an overflow when there were too many of them. My phone can't be updated, so I figured I would have to live with this...
HOWEVER: After yesterday's fitbit app update, the problem seems to have gone away. My best guess is that I do in fact have the Android BLE bug, but I also suspect that something in the previous fitbit app update exaserbated the issue.
The good news is that the app seems happy, bluetooth seems happy, and thus I am happy.
Sidenote: Are there any release notes for the latest fitbit update on Android that list what fixes were applied? All I see is "Bug fixes and performance improvements".
