Welcome to the Community @Moraldrose! The Samsung Galaxy 7 still over a testing process and it might be already compatible, so just to confirm that, I suggest you to make sure you have the latest version of the Fitbit app on your phone and then set it up your Fitbit as a new device. In the meantime you can also take a look into the compatible devices list to see if you can use any other phone to set up/sync your tracker.
