Updates now available on the Fitbit app

I've had it in the UK for about a week. Seems to sync better with my Fitbit Sense 2.

I would really like a dark mode now in it to follow the Google standard.

For me, the GPS stopped working in the 'Phone' mode on Charge 6 since the update. Since, Built-in and Dynamic never worked before, now the only option that used to work fails. Oh well... Fitbit.

Hi ok im confused the new version of the app is supposed to make things easier but it seems that there are still some glitches,

1, had battery percent but had to re-install now gone again

2, reduced spacing for less scrolling - is not the case the dashboard (today screen) is now longer than before and cannot be fully customised as it once did - how is this better?

3, celebration animations - never happened,

4, ok customised large tile is good but now only get 4 instead of 5 options,

6, still have not addressed dark mode option ( eye health is still important) sure if some of the features you have only cater for less than 50% of your customers this can be implemented also.

7, food logs a) still cannot add favourites from app need to do from website and b) frequent food list still not resenting after an amount of time i mean my recents list was bigger than my whole food list ( hence the need to un-install and re-install - then go through the rigmorale of setting up again(notification, calls etc)

and new badges - zone minutes how do you get them  as i do over 700 in a week but have not gotten any do you need to be in an exercise or should it be from normal use of the app/device,

Given that Fitbit is a Google company you wod have thought that providing a dark mode would be simple. 

A lot of people have voted for it as an enhancement, why oh why don't Fitbit listen to it's existing customers. It is easier ( cheaper, less time, etc.) to sell to an existing customer than a new one. 

@JuanFitbit and moderators when are we going to get dark / system mode?

@JuanFitbit Any updates on how long it will take for this update to be available to everyone. Three weeks after it was released and the Nov 14th update is still not rolled out to me, using a fitbit sense on a pixel 6 pro with latest android version on verizon in the US.

Never did get to update to version 4.04 but just updated to version 4.06.7 from Google Play...

That's interesting. My wife is still on 4.03 and I'm on 4.04. When I look in the Play store both entries for the app say 4.03.

@RayH8 which phone / version etc. are you on?

I only got 4.04 today on playstore and updated. I can see the battery % and street names are back but the bars are still clunky if not even clunker than on the  previous version. The duration of my exercises is still rounded down to minutes.

Samsung S22 Ultra (Canadian) Android 14

I see battery % now but noticed nothing else.  Since there was a jump from 4.04 to 4.06 and quite a delay for 4.04 to be rolled out, I assume some other 4.04 bugs were fixed.

As an FYI, I have a Samsung S10 that is running Android 12 that was updated with version 4.06.7. My wife's iPhone was also updated with version 4.06.

So I never got the 4.04 update, but I just got the 4.06 update (released Nov 29th) this morning. Battery level is back, but still can not make edits to work out lengths after the fact, and still logging my elliptical workouts as "auto" despite the fact that I am manually starting them,

Want the graph back that shows your heart rate throughout a workout and gives your average heartrate for the workout.  The current workout information is useless.

Scroll down on the same page of average heart rate page to see your daily heart rate graph. Not sure if is it what you are referring to.
