Variance between distance on Fitbit & Google Fit

Hi All,

I have a Pixel watch and a Pixel 7 pro phone. 

I recently had a week off work and the Fitbit app says I hiked 50 miles but Google Fit says 37 miles. 

Which one is going to be accurate as a 26% difference is huge?

Where you using GPS in both apps? Did you manually start the fitbit recording?

No idea about GPS. Same watch, same phone just different apps. How do you turn on GPS in the apps?

No to manually recording, it was all auto calculated over the week.

Sorry, but I don't have any info about the discrepancy in the distance that you saw between the Fitbit & Google Fit apps.
