Versa 2 Not Synching after Reset

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have had a Versa 2 for almost a year, this most recent update has unlinked my Versa 2 to my Samsung Galaxy S10. All permissions have been activated on every device. I have force stopped the app, nothing, reinstalled the app, nothing, tried older versions of the app, nothing. I have tried all the above on 3 separate devices, nothing. My last ditch effort was to factory reset my Versa 2 which has essentially bricked my Versa 2 because it needs to link to the app to even start working. What other options do I have at this point? The device IS compatible and was working prior to recent update.

I hear you!!!!  I have been having issues with syncing ever since Fitbit pushed one of the Android updates in late Jan.  I too have a Samsung phone that is supposed to be compatible and had no issues previously.  The patches/updates sent out correct SOME of the issues but, my Versa 2 no longer syncs like it used to previously.  I have to restart my Fitbit and phone daily.  The app on my phone no longer retains my wifi information and will not let me update it.  I hope that Fitbit resolves the issue soon as I have been a loyal customer since 2014.  If this were my first experience with Fitbit I would have trashed it and advised my friends to steer clear of the product.  Come on Fitbit, you can do better than this...

It's not just versa 2 and Samsung, it has been an issue for many of us for weeks if not months. Unfortunately, Fitbit can't fix it, and apparently the only "fix" is going older version of the application, as the up-to-date ones won't sync or add a device.

Ironically you even can't get an older version from Fitbit, you need to google it from third party websites, which is not so secure. Depends on how you use your watch, if you'd like to go that way 🙂

My Versa 2 [35.71.6.19] and Samsung and Fitbit App 3.39.2 is working.

Can you post more specifically what is the issue and what steps you have done.

Tried literally everything they suggest, including factory reset, after which you can't simply add the watch anymore. Same with scales, after I removed them you can't add them back, no matter what you do.

After all that I even tried couple of older versions of Fitbit, none helps. Probably, it happened after Android version got updated, BUT there's no any issues with any other devices, all works, just the Fitbit ones are out.

Glad for someone it's still working, but if you check the recent topics here, you'll see I'm not the only one. And I can't even describe what I think of the brand at this point, can't be described in a polite manner 🙂
