I have a Charge 3 and it works fine with my Samsung S5 running 6.0.1.  I bought the Versa 2 and discovered that it needs Android 7+.  WHY?  I spent a bunch of time trying to update my phone, but to no avail.  I returned the versa 2, as there's no way in the world I'm going to buy another phone just to support this watch.

I just got my Versa 2 and am able to use the Fitbit App on my Samsung Luna Pro with Android 6.01.  I discovered this by accident.  When I tried to set up the watch, I was told by the app "no can do."  So I set it up on my Windows 10 machine.  Because I had just deleted my Versa Lite on the phone App, it was still open.  After the set up and update via wi-fi, I then noticed my app showed the Versa 2, as it had connected through Bluetooth.  I did this twice, but don't recall the exact steps and frankly don't want to take the chance of losing the pairing.  I don't have the ability to save clock faces, but that is not something I would do anyway.  You might want to give this a try - do a factory reset and set up via Windows, unpair the Bluetooth connection with the computer, then pair it to your phone's Bluetooth and open your Fitbit App.  Good luck.
