Versa 2 connection issue with Samsung A71

Is anyone else having trouble w samsung A71 and versa 2 not showing notifications all of a sudden? I get a notification but it won't let me reply?! Customer service was worthless, said be patient. I paid a lot of $ for this watch...had no issues w old samsung phone...any help?
