I have had this versa 2 maybe a month. It wouldn't sync. I restarted me phone, the app, bluetooth and the watch, all several times. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Went away from all other bluetooth devices. Unpaired all other bluetooth devices. Deleted my fitbit app cache. Now I am trying to get the app to set up the versa as a new device and it still says it can't find it. It is charged and seems to work fine. This is beyond infuriating.

Your post never mentioned that the tracker was removed from the Fitbit account. Not sure why it needs to be setup.
If it was removed from your account, I would check the tips for sync issues.
Your app was unable to sync, this needs to be fixed before you will be able to set it up.
When a user knows that the Fitbit App is not talking to the tracker, telling Fitbit that you do not want to use the tracker will not fix the problem.
