Versa 2 not getting notifications from Samsung S20

I have a Versa 2 and a Samsung S20 5G and I cannot get any phone, text or email notifications on the Versa 2. What do I do to get these no notifications to work again?

Your watch needs to be syncing for notifications to work

to check

In the phone Fitbit App

Click on profile photo [top left]

Device photo [middle left]

Sync -

See when last synced

it should say "a moment ago" or be recently synced

 

if not there may be a syncing issue

 

try refresh by touching circle, if that works it can sync but may be the app isn't running in background

 

If its syncing ok, ensure that the notifications are setup correctly

In the phone Fitbit App

Click on profile photo [top left]

Device photo [middle left]

Notifications

And verify the top 4 items are correctly defined.

Also

App notifications

and select any apps you want to hear from.
