Versa 2 time zone won't change

Hello,

I am having issues with time updates on my fitbit Versa 2. I have the fitbit app on an Android Galaxy S8. I have followed the instructions given on related queries and nothing has solved the problem.

I moved from Ireland (GMT) to Spain (GMT +1.00). I used the app settings to 1.) Auto update time and location and sync, but it didn't work after multiple syncs and tries. So I then tried to 2.) Manually select time zone and location and synced but this did not work either after many attempts. I also tried to force stop the app and also deleted and redownload the app and do the steps again, with no luck! My time is 1 hour behind and I cannot seem to fix it.

Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you!

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Alison_m.

Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. I understand how you are feeling about this situation and recommend trying these steps:

  1. Force stop the Fitbit app on your phone: Settings > Applications > find the Fitbit app > select it > select Storage > Clear cache and then Force stop.

  2. In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > Advanced Settings.
  3. Turn off the Automatic time zone option.
  4. Tap Select time zone and select the correct time zone.
  5. Sync your Fitbit device.

By the way, I've moved your post to Android App board so we can keep our forums organized.

Hope this helps!
