Versa 2 will not pair with Samsung s10+

I recently had a charge 4 but after 2 years it no longer would hold a charge after an update. Connected Fitbit and the only solution they gave me was it was no longer under warranty. I expected it would last longer than 2 years. These watches are not cheap. I purchsed the Versa 2 and I have the Samsung S10+ and the Versa 2 will not pair to my bluetooth. Contacted support and get nothing but the same troubleshooting steps mentioned in this forum. Is there anyone out there that the Samsung Galaxy S10+ that is actually able to pair with the bluetooth? Not able to open text messages from the Versa 2.

I’m assuming, because you said your Versa 2 is new, that your trying to set up your new device. Do you set up your Versa 2 as a new device? We can try that since your Versa 2 won’t pair any way at the moment. First check to make sure you have the latest Fitbit App installed on your Android phone the check to make sure your Android phone is up to date as well. Now log out of the Fitbit app then go to your Bluetooth and ensure that Versa 2 doesn’t appear on the list of devices. If it does tap Versa 2 then tap unpair. Now turn off your Bluetooth then shut down your phone for 1-2 mins then restart your phone. Now turn your Bluetooth back on then log back into the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture then scroll down and tap Set Up New Device. Pick Versa 2 in the list of trackers then follow the onscreen instructions. When it asks if you want to replace this Versa 2 say yes.

I set up my Versa as a new device and have tried the solution you suggested. In fact I have tried everything I am able to find in the community forum as well as the internet and it has not resovled the problem. Jus wondering if there is anyone else that has a Samsung Galaxy s10+ and able to open text messages in the Versa 2. I am very  disappointed with this watch after purchasing after the Charge 4 would not hold a charge for a day after only having it for 2 years. I'm disappointed with Fitbit. No solutions.

Unfortunately the text messages you want will not come in with out a Bluetooth connection. Can you check to ensure your Android phone is on the list of compatible devices for the Fitbit App: https://www.fitbit.com/global/us/technology/compatible-devices

I have Samsung Galaxy s10+. The list shows Android 10 or higher. I'm thinking it is compatible
