for a few months now my Fitbit steps will not.sync to my widget unless I force them to. they used to do this automatically, and even when I do force it, it is not always accurate.
I have seen other people with this issue. is there anyway to resolve it?

Hi @RebeccaEmma13, welcome to the Community Forums.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which Android mobile device are you using? When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? In the meantime I receive your answers, please try the following steps and let me know if the issue persists:
Looking forward to your reply.

HI Ricardo. I have the same issue as RebeccaEmma13, and looking further afield, we're not the only ones. The widget used to work, but recently (by which several months at least) it only updates a couple of times a day, if at all.
I've undertaken the steps outlined above twice, but sadly the issue persists. I would appreciate it if this can be investigated further, as without regular automated updates/syncs, there really is little point in offering an Android main goal widget.
Thanks in advance for your help in pushing for a resolution.

I was able to get it working again by going back to version 3.15, which was probably from like a year ago. There are websites out there where you can download old versions. I dunno if it has anything to do with it, but this version has the "all day sync" option on it that they removed a while back.
I don't know how many times I've had to use old versions of the app because of stuff like this in the last 5 years or whatever of owning a fitbit. It gets kinda old.

I'm experiencing same issue with the widget not syncing. I've tried everything and turn on all permissions. I hope you can get this working again. Maybe add back the all day sync
Thank you

As am I. I started another thread about this the other day, not realizing this one already existed.

...although now it seems to have just synched. No idea why.
