I've had my Versa 2 for a little over a year. It was working great up until the 1-year mark. Now it won't stay connected to the GPS on my Samsung Note 20. I've tried everything, even resetting to factory, and nothing seems to work. I've checked all my settings, according to troubleshooting guide and still nothing. Anyone have similar problems and/or a good solution? Thank you!! 😊

Hello,
Yes, I did try the 3 suggested steps above. None of those suggestions resolved the issue. After careful observation of my watch during my workout, I figured out what the problem was. I had my phone on power-saving mode, so every time my phone went to sleep, the GPS would disconnect! After I turned off power-saving mode, everything worked again!
Hope this helps anyone else who may be having the same issue!

@LisaPol67 Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for the troubleshooting performed prior to posting.
I'd like you to confirm that these steps have been followed:
See if GPS connects after each step
- Force quit, and reopen the Fitbit app to refresh the connection with your device.
- On your phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off and back on.
- Restart your phone.
Hope this helps.

I am having the same problem. Really frustrating and more disappointing.
This is happening to me. Really frustrating
I was hoping this would work for me. But my power saving mode is off already.

@MikeGillespieJr Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for the details mentioned.
I see where your frustration is coming from. I'd like you to confirm that the procedure mentioned previously was performed.
Verify the following requirements:
- Make sure that you have a clear view of the sky when you start the exercise. Environmental factors, including tall buildings, dense forest, steep hills, and even thick cloud cover, can interfere with your phone’s ability to connect to GPS satellites. If the signal is blocked—either because you're indoors, underground, or due to another reason—GPS won't work.
- Confirm that Bluetooth on your phone is turned on, and your device is connected under your phone’s Bluetooth settings.
- Make sure that phone is within 30 feet of your device.
- Make sure that your device can sync with the Fitbit app. For more information, see How do Fitbit devices sync their data?
- Confirm that the Fitbit app can use your phone's GPS sensors. For more information, seeHow do I allow my Fitbit device to use my phone's GPS sensors?
Hope this helps.
