I have walked for years with the Map my Walk app on my Pixel and then my Fitbit Charge 4. My normal walk is 4.2 miles. My new Fitbit Versa 3 calculates the same walk at 3.98 miles. I don't start walking until GPS is connected. I turned off automatically calculate stride length and put my actual stride length in and it doesn't fix my problem. As an Electrical Engineer is disappointed that Fitbit can'tcalculate GPS distance accurately. I would not recommend buying a Versa 3.
