Hello, I have a huge problem with my Versa 3. It always ask me to download the Fitbit App eventhough it's already installed. The watch also synchronizes with the app but won't switch to a watch face. It also tells me to update the watch. After updating it returns top this download advise. I already reseted and uninstall the watch. I also deleted my watch and used other mobile phones to try. Nothing worked out. I'm worried if the watch could be demaged. I used 2 Google Pixel Smartphones and a Galaxy Tab A to test it.

Hi @MaKuh82 - it would seem the watch has not been installed properly in the Fitbit App on your phone.

Turn off all devices with the Fitbit App installed except your phone,

Remove the Bluetooth entries for the watch from your phone, in the Fitbit App remove the watch and any other watch devices you have installed.

Logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and then restart the phone.

Restart the watch by holding the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.

Login, click profile photo and then "+ Set up a Device".

This will install the watch correctly and set it up so you can then use and sync with the app.

Thanks but it didn't work out. It seems as if the app loses connection during the installation. The watch displays the connection code, the app starts to download the setup package. When it comes top installtion the watch starts the progress but finishes very fast. After that the app reports an error.

@MaKuh82 - thanks, that isn't normal.

Make sure that watch is on charge and near the WiFi source and the phone has a decent charge and repeat the process.

You can always chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & support, Contact Customer support.

In case the watch is faulty it can be replaced under warranty where you bought it.
