Versa 3 will not stay connected to Pixel 5

Hello,

 

I recently purchased a Versa 3. It arrived today. I have gone through the setup three times, factory resetting between each. My pixel 5 will not remain connected to the Versa 3 Controls no matter what I try. So it is not receiving any of my phone notifications. As soon as I pair it successfully, it immediately disconnects. The part that says Versa 3 will remain connected but the controls one will not. I have tried forgetting the Versa 3 and only connecting to the Versa 3 Control but then it will not recognize the device through the App. Quite ready to throw in the towel and send the **ahem** thing back.and customer support is "unavailable" according to the App. Very unhappy.

 

Any ideas?

@shileman218 Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for the details mentioned and the troubleshooting performed prior to posting. 

 

I see where your frustration is coming from. In this case, I'd like you to make sure your phone has Android OS 7.0 or higher and make sure you follow these tips to use your Fitbit app on your Android phone. 

 

Also, confirm this procedure was followed to set your notifications on your phone.
