Versa 3 won't receive notifications from my Android phone

I got my Versa 3 for Christmas from my son in 2020. I love it. A few months ago, notifications won't come through. I have to uninstall & install for it to work again. But after a few days it stops. Other then that, it still syncs.  Anyone else have this issue?

While reading your post, I was wondering if you get any error message in the Fitbit app regarding the notifications not working? If so, may I know what the message says? May I know the model of your mobile phone? Please make sure it meets the requirements listed here.

Also, please try following the tips and recommendations provided here Why are notifications delayed or missing?

Hello. No, I do not get any error message.   Notifications just stop coming through. It does sync.  I have a Google Pixel 3 phone.  I have had a fit bit since 2015 and never had this problem with notifications till now.  Or at least these last few months

Before considering other options, please make sure your Google Pixel 3 meets the requirements listed here.

Also, confirm if you've followed the suggestions provided here Why are notifications delayed or missing?

I have tried everything listed & even Googled it. Some things work while other options don't. And my phone meets all the requirements. I know that is not the issue. This is the 1st time in all my years wearing & using Fitbit that this has happened.
