Versa 3 won't sync

I have not been able to sync my Versa 3 since January 20, 2020. I have only had it for 3 months. I have waisted so much time doing all of the recommendations several times with no luck.

What is my next step?

Hello @Jenah, welcome to the Community Forums.

First, I appreciate your effort and patience for troubleshooting this situation before posting over here, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using? When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? In the meantime I receive your answers, please try the following steps and let me know if the issue persists:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the OS version of your phone is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.

If you continue experiencing difficulties after trying the above steps, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed. Then, you can move forward and try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

@Rich_Laue Your help is always appreciated.

Let me know if further assistance is needed and if you have any additional questions.

I have literally tried suggestion! I have checked Android for update, versa 3 all said up to date. Forced close, turned apps on and off removed programs and re loaded. NOTHING helps. No online help no phone help. This is the 3rd time I have had support issue and make no headway

Hi @helpmerhondae a user has to force close the fitbit app through the phones settings - Apps - Fitbit - Stop App. (swiping off the screen is not enough) While in settings you want to go into storage and clear cache.

Some users have noted that clearing the BT cache also helps.

Also try turning Bluetooth off/on

Remove Versa from the phones BT

Restart phone

Restart tracker.

It would be better to do a complete shutdown of the phone and a shutdown of the Versa 3. A shutdown is the only way to restart hardware. Which is a Hard Reset.

I completely hear you. My android version is 11. I thought 8 and above are compatible. Versa is sometimes getting connected, sometimes it fails pairing, and sometimes it doesn't even show in list of devices. Versa 3 control connects quickly. I tried everything like factory reset, installing n pairing again n updating phone's OS but of no use. I am getting the call on the watch (when it got connected once or twice but mic n speaker aren't working) :(... Would appreciate if someone could help.
