Versa Lite won't turn on but has backlight

My Versa Lite is not turning on and when I plug it in or push the back button it will vibrate and light up but no logo or information appears. The first time I tried to reset it flashed lines of color which I'm not sure is normal or not or if the screen has gone kaput. Ant information would be greatly appreciated!
