All Day sync is off.
Always Connected is off.
Notifications are supposed to be off.
This **ahem**ed thing continues to sync without me opening the app. I know it does because it alerts me when I 'pass' someone in a challenge. The problem is, it shouldn't know because it shouldn't be syncing.
I am officially removing it from my phone because despite permissions off, and all the syc stuff off, it intrudes anyway.
I already knew this was my last Fitbit, and now this junk on top of it..
Best AnswerHi @jjwillamson did you turn off bluetooth? Without that, your Fitbit can't sync.
Best Answerturn off Bluetooth on my phone? Now why would I do that?
I rely on that for too many other things.
No, when you tell an app not to sync it shouldn't sync. Period.
For a long while it didn't, now it does again, I'm assuming an update caused it.
Whatever caused it, it needs fixed.
Best AnswerIt sounds like you have an older, by several versions of the Fitbit. App @jjwillamson
The all day switch was removed from the android app a few versions ago.
Best AnswerNope, latest version according to play store, and it auto updates.
Problem solved.
My new tracker is on its way. It's not a Fitbit.
Fitbit took away the things I found useful, forced me to use the app, the continually bikes my privacy by subbing without permissions.
I even turned off notification thinking that might help, but still getting notifications to.
The app it's ignoring all the controls
