Versa and Pixel 3 won't stay connected

Every day or two, I need to restart my Pixel 3 to bring back the Versa connection. I have done updates, uninstalled and reinstalled and all other troubleshooting tips.  The Pixel 3 is listed as a supported device. What else can I do?    Thanks for any assistance!

Hi @LoriK882, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for your post and troubleshooting this matter prior to posting. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.

Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted.

Thanks for your message.   I checked the syncing procedure and my Pixel 3 has the correct requirements.  My Versa can connect to my bluetooth, and it does sync, but then a few hours later or the next day, it stops connecting. I can only re-connect by restarting my phone.  I have another fitness tracker (non-Fitbit) that works fine with my phone.   My Versa is not reliable since I never know when it has disconnected until I happen to notice later that I haven't gotten any notifications.  Please let me know what can be done to fix this.

Thank you.

You're welcome @LoriK882, your update is appreciated.

Thanks for the information that was shared with me, seems odd that your Fitbit is working in such way. Since the steps from my previous post didn't resolve your concern, please try the following:

  1. Restart your Fitbit.
  2. Please on the phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth, and remove all the connections that exist with the device. (Forget device, ignore or unpair depending on the version of the operating system of the phone).
  3. Turn off the Bluetooth and restart the phone. (Switch off and on again).
  4. When the mobile device is back on, turn the Bluetooth on again but do not attempt to connect to the Fitbit from here.
  5. Go on the app and try setting up the Fitbit as a new device.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.
