Versa and Versa 2 will not accept WIFI password in app

Suddenly my fitbits Versa and Versa 2 will not complete setup. This because the apps will not accept my wifi password, so I found my kids Fitbit Blaze and we reinstalled and setup and of course no issues. I have wasted 3 days trying to load music onto my new Versa 2 and I couldn't get the WIFI to work, so I went back to my Versa that I have loaded music on and stopped using because it was logging 3 my steps. I went to set it up and it  will not setup because suddenly my wifi password is not being accepted. I am returning the Versa 2 and I guess I have to move on from this brand...soooo many issues soo much time wasted. Sad....
