Versa and the Motorola Z Force2 do not work together.

Have a Versa working with a Motorola Turbo then had to get a new phone. Got the Motorola Force Z2 that's been out a year and now I'm told they won't synch. When will these two work together?

Hello @Bill8491.

It could be because the Motorola Force Z2 on the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully tested and optimized to work with those phones and thus issues like this may arise.

While the app can work as long as the phone meets the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that some issues will happen. Some users of phones not on that list have mentioned that going through these troubleshooting steps helped them, so it's definitely worth a try.

To answer your question directly, at this moment we do not have any details on when we might be able to expect that phone to work.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

The phone does not support the Versa. I ran through all those suggested steps with tech support.

You guys just have to get on the ball and get the Motorola Z Force 2 supported and on the list, after all the phone has been selling for over a year.

Hello @Bill8491.

Thanks for trying all of those steps!

Our team is certainly aware of the need to expand on the supported devices list. As soon as there are any news on that front we will be absolutely sure to post about it and let every one know!

In the meantime perhaps you could use another mobile device or a computer? That way you can sync your data and not lose a single step.

Let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with.

My dear, half the point of having a Versa at all is so that we can have the Bluetooth functionality of push notifications from our phones. I specifically bought my Versa so that I could receive phone notifications on it AND track my fitness. Why would I ever pay this much for JUST a fitness tracker. Please, if you're going to sell a device, make sure you're keeping up with it's compatibility...or at least advertise better what it's compatible with. It's been far too long for Fitbit to have not fixed this by now. I was very excited to get a Versa, but my phone is more import, so I'll have to return the Versa and get a Garmin instead... Those are much more reliable and easily compatible with more phones than Fitbit.

I've been able to get mine to work with the phone. I may not have been patient enough, alternatively technology does update.

I did manage to get mine to work, after much trial and error and resetting and rebooting. However, I can't just "connect" to it via my Bluetooth menu.  So I think it's working by default of the phone being so new, but they haven't tweaked the app to make it integrate seamlessly. So, in theory it should work... But it's hard to tell if it is until you've run it through it's paces for a few days.

First through my Surface, but now it continues to synch better through the Surface than via Bluetooth on the phone.
