Versa battery draining

I have owned my Fitbit versa for a little over a year. I have noticed this week that my versa is no longer holding a charge. I have charged my versa to 100% everyday this week. It does not hold a charge for a full 24 hours. I have also noticed that while charging the versa is warm to the touch. My activity and use of the Fitbit versa have not drastically changed over the last week. I have rebooted the versa several times as well as turning off notifications to try to prolong the battery life and nothing has helped. Is there a fix to this? Is this a battery issue? I also emailed customer support and received a response saying they were unavailable and to use the forum to trouble shoot the problem.

I am having this exact same issue!!! I am trying now to get some help. My battery on the device screen will blink red for a few seconds even when fully charged.

I have an Alta HR and the same thing has started happening to me. I think, but I am not absolutely sure, that it coincided with an Android update on my phone. After the update, my Fitbit lasts less than a day and nothing I have done so far has resolved the issue.

As of today, no response from fitbit and now an email asking if I received an answer from the replies. The replies are other Fitbit users having the same issue, so clearly they have not read any part of this thread. Very disappointed in the lack of response from fitbit.
