My versa can't sync with vivo Nex after I updated to android 8.1

Welcome to the Forums @Cammu

This might be happening because the Vivo Nex is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.

As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps with the syncing.

If none of the above works, you could try to use a computer or another mobile device to try and sync your Fitbit to your account. Click here to get instructions on how to sync with other devices.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

@LanuzaFitbit, maybe it can happen because the Fitbit team is not capable to create reliable solutions? Many people have similar issues and you always give the same broad answer which makes low sense in my opinion. It looks like Fitbit developers have a little competence in creating solutions for transferring data through noisy data channels, and they don't even know how to reestablish failure connections. I can recommend the Fitbit team several background books on this topic if it will help creating better products. I had similar issues with my devices. The solution for the last one can be found in the thread here:  https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/Huawei-P20-lite-compatibility/td-p/2634123/page/2. @Cammu, you can try to use it maybe it can help you.
