Versa losing connection to S7 edge

Can fit bit release a better firmware update to include the Samsung galaxy s7 edge phone.  I have successfully paired my versa to my phone then after say a week, it looses the connection & I can never get it to reconnect.. The only way i can reconnect is to reset the versa back to factory setting prior to the firmware update & it connects fine... But its a constant loop... I will try one more time & if it stops then I will take the versa back for full refund as its so stressful trying for ages to connect.

Thanks for bringing this up and sharing all of those steps that you have followed to get it to work.

 

In this case I'd recommend that you try these steps next time it happens:

  1. Go into the phone's Bluetooth settings.
  2. There remove any and all Fitbit devices from the list of paired devices.
  3. Then restart your phone.
  4. Run the set up as if you were setting a replacement Versa.
